## Therapeutic approach

Her integrative approach draws on different therapeutic perspectives to meet each person's individual needs. Her work is grounded in cognitive behavioural therapy, with a strong systemic orientation, and incorporates trauma and attachment theories, mindfulness and self-compassion, with an awareness of gender and cultural context.

She supports people experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional distress, couples, family or relationship difficulties, grief, life transitions, trauma, emotional wounds and self-esteem concerns.

## Training and experience

María holds a Psychology degree from UAM, a Master's Degree in General Health Psychology from UNIR and a Master's Degree in Integrative Psychotherapy from UAH. She has additional training in systemic emotional psychotherapy, MBSR, trauma-sensitive yoga and EMDR.

She currently sees patients at her private practice in Madrid and online. Her clinical experience includes working at Psicología Moncloa, EnTTerapia and Psicólogos Pozuelo. Before becoming a psychotherapist, she spent ten years in HR and international talent management.
